Darryl Belcher, Senior Pastor

Pastor Darryl Belcher preacher, exhorter, teacher and entrepreneur, is the Senior Pastor of Proceeding Word Christian Ministries, and a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He accepted his calling in 1993 and in 1997 became an Associate Minister at Anointed Word Christian Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia where Ocie Reese, Jr. is the Senior Pastor. With a heart for the young, he concentrated his efforts on growing the church's Youth Department. As a result of his dedication, he was chosen to serve as full-time minister of the Youth Department in 1998. While devoted to developing a fruitful Youth Ministry, Pastor Belcher was appointed Assistant Pastor of Anointed Word Christian Ministries in 1999.

Admired by many for his outstanding integrity, Pastor Belcher aims to walk in true obedience to God's word. Recognizing that God made him the man he is today, Pastor Belcher emulates the fine example of being a hard worker, provider, husband and father, as he witnessed in his spiritual father Pastor Ocie Reese, Jr. As a servant-leader, Pastor Belcher embraces his role as a leader for the people of God. Seeing all that God has done and is doing keeps him humble and reminds him to stay connected to Christ, the ultimate supplier.

Pastor Belcher loves to celebrate God and his preaching style is very transparent. He believes sharing ALL that God has brought him through (good and bad) celebrates the goodness of the Lord.

Pastor Belcher is a graduate of American InterContinental University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Pastor Belcher and his beautiful wife Theresa are the proud parents of Brandon, Christy and Taylor and proud grandparents of Isaiah, Khenadi and Micah.
