History of Church

Proceeding Word Christian Ministries was founded on September 20, 2009 in Ellenwood, Georgia with five founding members. At its inaugural service, with over 60 people in attendance, the membership grew by 19! After 3 short weeks of holding services at Cedar Grove High School, PWCM found a new location in Decatur, Georgia.

At this new location, the membership grew by 28 additional members, the children's ministry was birthed with 14 children, the Praise and Worship Team was formed including the praise dance ministry, the Ministry of the Towel (Servanthood) was formed, we acquired anointed and faithful musicians and an audio/visual team.

As a community outreach, we distributed "FREE" hotdogs and water to the community as an evangelical effort. Over 200 hotdogs were given away!

In September, 2010 we will relocate once again to Stone Mountain, Georgia. At this location, we will be able to offer more full-time ministry services included but not limited to youth services (workshops, dance camps, tutorial services, cheer camps, VBS, Lock-Ins, etc.).

Check back for future follow-ups of progress as we "proceed" futher in advancing God's Kingdom.
